Job Title: Server
Job Summary: Table 985, an exciting new upscale casual restaurant in Conneaut, OH, is seeking a reliable and experienced Server to join our team. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Serve food, beverages, and alcoholic beverages to customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers and addressing any concerns
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Clean and set up tables and dining areas
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
