Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review business tax returns (e.g., S-Corps, C-Corps, LLCs, and partnerships) accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct detailed tax planning sessions with business owners to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and offer proactive advice.
- Collaborate with the team to create tailored financial strategies for clients.
- Provide expert support and guidance during IRS or state audits, as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
Required:
- Enrolled Agent (EA) with 2-5 years of relevant experience, OR
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of business tax codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, Drake, or similar).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses.
- Ability to identify and articulate tax-saving strategies effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
