What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renovator position at Sparq Living?
Hello! Our ideal candidate will have experience doing various construction and carpentry but isn't required. We do however require 1 year experience doing minor renovation or contruction!
We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Renovator to join our team! If you love bringing new life to spaces, working with your hands, and seeing the direct results of your work, this job is for you. You’ll be handling a variety of renovation tasks, from installing flooring and drywall to painting, minor plumbing, and electrical work. Every day is different, and you’ll be transforming homes and businesses into better spaces for our clients.
We need someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, pays attention to detail, and can work both independently and with a team. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with tools, and making things look amazing, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Renovating and upgrading residential and commercial spaces
- Installing and repairing drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and trim
- Painting interiors and exteriors with a clean, professional finish
- Handling minor plumbing and electrical work when needed
- Reading blueprints and project plans to bring designs to life
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Communicating with clients and teammates to ensure projects run smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in renovations, construction, or handyman work required
- Skilled in carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting preferred
- Some plumbing and electrical is a plus
- Ability to work with tools safely and efficiently required
- Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail preferred
- Physically able to lift materials and work on ladders when needed required
- A team player who can also tackle tasks solo preferred
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
- Bonus: Any relevant trade certifications or training

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
