Location :

Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Pay :

95,000 to $110,000 annually

Experience :

7 years of experience in a law firm (or professional services) environment.

2 years of lead or supervisory experience to work closely with the Director of Finance / Accounting team to ensure day-to-day proper workflow and analyze / track key performance indicators to ensure team accountability.

Education :

Associate degree in a related field. Bachelor's degree or higher degree in related field is preferred.

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic law firm client!

Job Description :

• Handle day-to-day general ledger (G / L) accounting, including reconciliations / related financial tasks, financial reporting.
• Maintain consistent records for trust receipts, disbursements, and reports.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure efficient daily accounting processes.
• Conduct A / P cost data entry for client invoices and process check requests with subsequent vendor payment and reconciliation.
• Handle high volume vendor invoice tracking, processing, and follow-up.
• Support GAAP processes, including month-end close and reconciliation.
• Work with firm initiatives and assist the Director of Finance with implementation to streamline all accounting functions.
