We are growing! We are seeking an organized and outgoing Patient Coordinator to join our small team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience by managing various administrative tasks in a medical office setting. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Manage medical scheduling, ensuring appointments are booked efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain and update medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with medical billing processes, including verifying insurance information and processing payments.
- Coordinate patient services, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is preferred, but not required. We can provide you with on-the-job training.
- Familiarity with medical billing and scheduling software is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in medical office management is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
