The Residential Loan Originator is responsible for starting new business and maintaining current business.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Loan originators will generate new business by building relationships with new builders and real estate agents.
- Attend open houses, industry events, realtor tours and regular office visits.
- Will be responsible for maintaining, nurturing and growing existing builder/agent relationships.
- Schedule loan applications either face to face or online.
- Responsible for taking comprehensive loan applications ensuring all approval requirements are met.
- Maintain effective, regular and clear communication with all parties involved, borrower, agent(s), seller(s), builder, title company.
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate pipeline.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Residential Loan Originator must have 2 years of prior industry experience in mortgage loan origination.
- Must be licensed in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Must be licensed in NMLS and maintain an accurate NMLS profile.
- Must be fully versed with all guidelines and regulations regarding, Fannie Mae/DPA Program, FHA, VA, State/Local Bond/DPA Program, RMMC Policies & LOS Functionality.
- This sales generating role with exceptional customer service delivery.
- The position will have a starting salary for 3 months to build pipeline and book of business and after the 3 months will become 100% commission pay.
