Hours: 6:00AM - 2:00PM 8 hours per day(shift may change slightly if meal periods change in the upcoming school year)
Job Summary:
This individual will be responsible for the oversight of the high school food service operation, ensuring the standards of excellence are met. They will supervise high school kitchen associates and follow all food service safety & meal pattern standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Food Service Experience
- Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment
- Knowledge of Safe and sanitary food handling principles
- Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs., manage proper storage of food /chemical items as necessary
- Proficient computer skills required
- Cashier Experience
- SerfSafe & Allergen Certified
- Strong supervisory, leadership, hands-on management and coaching skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff members; both written and verbal
- Ability to be a team player and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work with children in a caring, nurturing manner;
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Ability to Multitask
- Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and coach high school kitchen associates

- Executes special events/promotions in cafe
- Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
- Adheres to HACCP guidelines to ensure efficient, safe, and sanitary food production, purchasing, receiving, food storage, and facility maintenance
- Oversight of High School kitchen and cafe operations
- Oversees High School Inventory and food/paper supply ordering
- Performs other duties as assigned by Food Service Director
