Airframe & Powerplant Technician
Overview:
Join our team to perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on commercial aircraft systems. We are seeking detail-oriented Airframe & Powerplant Technicians committed to safety and excellence, capable of delivering high-quality results in compliance with aircraft maintenance manuals, policies, procedures, and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Experience in a Part 145 Repair Station, MRO, or airline maintenance environment preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments as required.
- Strong understanding of safety and quality assurance procedures in aviation maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with MD-11 aircraft maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural issues.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, including component replacements, system tests, and modifications.
- Document maintenance actions using approved record-keeping systems and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals and FAA regulations.
- Maintain and repair aircraft engines, landing gear, flight controls, and avionics systems as needed.
- Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations by performing emergency repairs to minimize aircraft downtime.
