Quality Assurance Manager
Position Overview
A precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance its quality control processes. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with production teams to uphold the highest quality standards in CNC machining.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control and assurance, preferably in CNC machining or aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of metrology methods and quality inspection processes.
- Proficiency in ERP, MES, and QMS systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- ASQ-CQA certification or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality control systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits as required.
- Apply advanced metrology methods to assess and verify product quality.
- Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Manage and optimize ERP, MES, and QMS systems related to quality control.
- Train staff on quality standards and best practices.
