Warriors Camp Counselor

Sparta White County Family Ymca in Sparta, TN is looking for summer day camp counselors to join our team. We are located on 123 Moore Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. This is a seasonal position, will last from May-August.

Responsibilities

• Supervises children at all times to ensure their safety.
• Be the catalyst for a welcoming and nurturing environment
• Stays alert to children’s needs and/or problems as individuals and as a group.
• Engages children in developmentally appropriate games and learning activities.
• Implement and maintain daily curriculum and track attendance.
• Build relationships with families by showing interest in each child’s well-being, learning each child’s name, and accommodating request when possible
• Prepares area for program and keeps all spaces safe, clean, sanitized, organized and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15
