Our client, located in Westland, Michigan, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team. This on-site position is ideal for someone with proven bookkeeping experience and familiarity with NetSuite. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Process payroll and handle payroll tax filings accurately.

• Reconcile credit card and bank accounts and book journal entries.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports for accuracy and compliance.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

• Perform data entry and maintain financial records.

• Utilize accounting software (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

• Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and payroll tax filings.

• Strong skills in financial reporting and data entry.

• Ability to reconcile credit cards and bank accounts and book journal entries.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High school diploma (higher education in accounting, finance, or business administration is a plus).

• Familiarity with general office management and administrative tasks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.

• NetSuite experience is preferred.
