Project Manager – Grand Rapids, MI (Onsite)
Compensation & Benefits :
Salary : Up to $130,000 , depending on experience.

Position Overview :
Our client seeks an Onsite Project Manager in Grand Rapids, MI to oversee programs from start to finish, ensuring requirements are met. The ideal candidate has defense or automotive experience and expertise in program management, budgeting, risk assessment, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.
Oversee program initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Manage budgeting, CAPEX spending, and cost tracking.
Evaluate RFPs, NPI compliance, and risk assessments.
Lead Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
Maintain clear communication to ensure project scope adherence.
Drive launch activities and troubleshoot operational issues.
Approve scope changes, engineering changes, and supplier qualifications.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
PMP certification preferred.
Minimum four years managing Department of Defense (DoD) contracts.
Experience in defense or automotive industry, especially with new product launches.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs.
