We are seeking a dynamic leader for a western Kentucky based and family-owned manufacturing company to join their Quality Team as a Senior Quality Engineer. In this role, you will apply engineering and manufacturing technology to enhance processes in quality, productivity, and cost reduction while ensuring total compliance with our Quality Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing by providing quality expertise in developing APQP documentation, including control plans, PFMEAs, flow charts, and inspection plans.
• Support manufacturing in achieving quality goals and policy deployment.
• Ensure daily operations comply with quality requirements through active participation and support.
• Investigate customer concerns, develop containment activities, and coach teams in implementing 8D process and system countermeasures, ensuring complete documentation before customer submission.
• Utilize Quality and Six Sigma tools to meet industry standards (ISO 9001/TS16949:2015) and customer-specific requirements.
• Manage action plans for quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support and promote 5S and Safety programs.
• Travel as needed to support customer relationships.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (preferred)
• Fundamental knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, capability analysis, MSA, 5-Why, PPAP, and common gauging practices
• Strong advanced problem-solving skills with proven team leadership in problem resolution
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Consistent adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of independently preparing and delivering presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MiniTab
• A strong commitment to a team-oriented environment
