Commercial Roofing Crew Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced roofer to become part of our dedicated team. This position is for a crew lead and must be someone who possess leadership skills. In this role, you as well as the crew, will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on commercial buildings. You'll work with a variety of roofing systems and materials, ensuring each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. We are looking for someone who can meet both our company's quality expectations and industry requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

· Install, repair, and replace various types of roofing systems including shingles, metal, TPO, EPDM, asphalt, and more.

· Perform tear-offs and clean-ups, ensuring the proper disposal of old roofing materials.

· Measure and cut roofing materials to fit around obstructions such as vents, chimneys, and skylights.

· Secure roofing materials using appropriate tools and fasteners.

· Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working order.

· Follow safety procedures and wear necessary protective equipment (e.g., harnesses, helmets, etc.)

· Good Communication.

· The ability to listen and understand information.

· Maintain positive business relationships.

· Respectful to everyone on the job site. Including, but not limited to, business owners, employees, co-workers, and other general contractors.

· Trusted to achieve goals successfully by being thorough, reliable, honest, and effective.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Takes directives and carries them out.

· Reports to the foreman and follow the directive of said individual.

· Leadership skills/experience.

Job Requirements:

· Basic knowledge of materials and methods.

· Always maintain a clean working area.

· Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.

· Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.

· Not afraid of heights

· Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)

Preferred Experience: 2 Years

Job Type: Hourly, Full-Time

Hours/Days: Monday- Friday, times will vary depending on weather conditions.

Pay: $24.00-$34.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
