As a Lease Operator at Spartan Companies, you will play a vital role in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities. This position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient production of energy resources while upholding our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of oil and gas lease sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production levels and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Coordinate with field personnel to facilitate efficient operations and resolve any operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies regarding safety and environmental standards.
- Nightshift work: 7/7 schedule. 6PM to 6 AM.
- Position will work alongside night shift specialist and night shift MSA to keep alarms cleared and report on routine downtime events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in oil and gas operations or related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to oil rigs and pipeline systems.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus.
- Valid commercial driving license may be required based on job location.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in the energy sector is essential.
