Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials for shipping and receiving operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and workflows.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
- Familiarity with operating clamp trucks, RF scanners, order pickers, and pallet jacks is required.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as cranes is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes is highly desirable.
