Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Clerk to join our Spartan Composites team. The Industrial Maintenance Clerk is responsible for processing work order requests, daily maintenance reports, and paperwork for scheduling & planning work, invoicing and recordkeeping. Responsible to identify, order, receive, store, distribute, organize, and track the maintenance parts inventory. Ability to input and track work orders to completion.
Areas of Responsibility/Job Duties:
- Maintain legible, neat, accurate, and searchable records, documentation, reports, etc.
- Order parts based on business needs, within the established min/max quantities.
- Ensure order accuracy when receiving new parts.
- Execute accurate put away of newly received items, or parts returned to stock.
- Distribute parts based on open work orders to maintenance staff.
- Continuously organize the inventory parts for efficient functionality of the department
- Leverage the maintenance computerized management system (CMMS) for auditing the parts inventory
- Effective cycle inventory count/inventory control
- Follow-up on status of equipment modifications, work orders and preventative maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications/Requirements: Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a proven record of building strong relationships and collaborating with frontline associates through senior company leaders.
- Able and willing to work the hours needed to include scheduled & unscheduled overtime.
- Must be reliable and present, excellent attendance.
- Must be extremely organized in a fast-paced 24/7 plant environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years of overall mechanical experience in the manufacturing field.
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment.
- Extruder knowledge and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Controls and PLC knowledge a plus.
- Compression molding knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to use quantitative and qualitative date to support decisions and recommendations.
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, etc

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.75 per hour
