Position: General Store Manager

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000 per year (Depending on Experience) Performance Bonuses

We’re looking for a General Store Manager with proven retail sales experience, leadership ability, and a strong sense of responsibility for the entire operation of Spartan Defense. This role requires someone who can work long hours when necessary to ensure the success and survival of the store. You won’t just manage a retail operation—you’ll oversee multiple departments and represent the interests of ownership in every decision.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire store, including:

• Retail Sales Department
• Gunsmithing & Custom Works Department
• Inventory & Special Orders
• Online Orders & E-Commerce
• Marketing & Media Team

* Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team* Ensure every department is operating efficiently and successfully* Drive sales and profitability to meet and exceed monthly goals* Ensure exceptional customer service across all areas of the store* Manage and enforce ATF compliance and all legal requirements* Represent and protect the interests of Spartan Defense ownership in all decisions* Work directly with owners on budgets, staffing, and strategic planning* Assist with marketing, events, and social media promotions* Schedule, hire, train, and develop employees across departments* Maintain a clean, professional store environment that represents the Spartan Defense brand* Be available to work long hours, weekends, and holidays when needed to ensure store success* Be an advocate for the 2A community through **

✔ Retail sales management experience is REQUIRED
✔ Proven experience managing multiple departments or teams
✔ Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
✔ Strong understanding of ATF compliance and legal regulations
✔ Sales-driven mindset with a focus on customer experience
✔ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
✔ Familiarity with POS systems, ordering processes, and inventory control
✔ Passion for firearms, tactical gear, and 2A advocacy
✔ Willingness to work long hours and go the extra mile for the store’s success
✔ Must pass a background check and meet all legal requirements
✔ Strong belief in the Second Amendment and a commitment to defending it
