Assistant Toddler Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to manage a classroom effectively while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.
• Facilitate daily activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking among preschoolers.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that supports children’s learning and growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide students.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
• Provide care and supervision during playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure children's safety and well-being.
• Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development.

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles to support the growth of young learners.
• Experience working with students in a preschool setting or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Previous babysitting or childcare experience is beneficial.
• Proficient in behavior management techniques to address various student needs.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures to ensure children's safety at all times.
• Background in early childhood education is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs.
• Passion for educating young children and fostering their love for learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
