We are looking for instructors that can teach Thursdays 4:30pm-8:30pm and/or Saturdays 10:30am-1pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead group classes, up to 12 clients, effectively and safely
- Ability to verbally communicate movement directions to participants
- Assist clients in their Pilates practice by promoting overall health, muscle tone, and achieving better posture
- Knowledge and ability to provide modifications to fit the needs of group and on an individual bases among class members
- Experience to expertly incorporate props into class flows
- Assist with cleaning tasks to keep studio and equipment clean
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to bend and lift or demonstrate exercises
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pilates Instructor Certification, required
- Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Desire to build a successful business and private clientele as well as group loyalty
- Punctual, reliable and dedicated
- Focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workout environment
- Being a motivation and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
