3rd SHIFT
Handles installation, removal and primary maintenance of the die cast dies and the trim dies for each die cast machine.
Job Duties:
- Installs and removes trim dies and part dies including the assembly and disassembly of each for repair.
- Operates crane and hoists ensuring all safety rules and procedures are followed.
- Performs Preventive Maintenance on dies.
- Completes all necessary paperwork, check sheets etc. including work orders and ensures accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ensures there is sufficient inventory of spares (core pins, leader pins, bushings, etc.).
- Performs general mechanical repairs as needed and safely uses machine tools when required.
- Visits tool shops for product launches (check off dies, new dies, etc.) as requested.
- Contributes to and supports the existence of a positive work environment through personal involvement by communicating, interacting, and behaving in a manner that promotes productive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and others with whom such relationships are important to the success of company operations.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED and 3 years relevant work experience
Preferred: Completed or in the process of completion of job-related technical training.
