Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team at Spartan Placements LLC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounting, with a focus on non-profit and for-profit entities.
- Serving as the lead auditor for various engagements, including non-profit and for-profit entities, schools, and employee benefit plans.
- Managing high-risk and time-consuming engagements under the supervision of a senior manager or higher.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely delivery of reports.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, management letters, and other financial reports, as applicable.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a focus on non-profit, school, and/or employee benefit plan clients.
- A CPA certification is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with ProSystem fx Engagement.
