Spartan Vision Center is an rapidly growing and well respected independent eye care practice located inside Costco, in East Lansing, Michigan.  Optometrist must have excellent interpersonal skilss and be dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services to all are patinets who live in the area or drive distance to come see us. We pride ourselves as an eyecare Team in delivering personalized patient care in a friendly and welcoming environment.  We are growing rapidly, and need both FT and PT optometrist !  All latest integrated refracting system and Daytona Optos integrated in our EHR on all patients.   This is truly an exciting and great opportunity to be exposed to about everything in a new and clean environment inside of Costco !

Position 1 : Full-Time Optometrist

We are seeking a Full-Time Optometrist who is eager to contribute to the growth of our independent practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and a desire to build lasting relationships with patients

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform thorough eye examinations and provide comprehensive vision care.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of ocular conditions.
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Participate in community outreach and practice growth initiatives

Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure to practice optometry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to patient care and practice development.
  • Availability to work flexible hours aligned with Costco's hours of operation

    • Position 2 : Part-Time Optometrist

    We are looking for a passionate and energetic Part-Time Optometrist to provide high-quality eye care services to our patients. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented and enthusiastic about enhancing the patient experience

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions.
  • Provide patient education on eye health and vision care.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in optometry

    • Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice optometry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours 2 to 3 days a week, in alignment with Costco's operating hours
