POSITION : Technology Coach, 2025-2026
QUALIFICATIONS :
- A valid SC teaching certificate.
- Minimum of five years' classroom teaching experience.
- Experience with use of educational technologies required
- A Bachelor's degree is required (Master's degree in educational technology preferred)
REPORTS TO : Director of Instructional Technology and Building Administrator(s)
GENERAL SUMMARY :
The technology coach will work with district and school leadership to support the infusion of technology tools into the curriculum in order to improve student learning. The coach will model 21st century instructional strategies and will always seek to learn new educational technology tools. Coaches will collaborate with teachers, media specialists, administrators and others to assist students in becoming self-directed learners. Technology coaches will train teachers, staff and administrators to use technology tools to provide a 21st century learning environment.

In addition to the physical and mental capabilities implied by the responsibilities detailed above, the essential functions of the Technology Coach include the following : reading, writing, hearing, speaking effectively, analyzing data, occasionally lifting / moving items weighing up to 25 pounds and must hold a SC driver's license and be able to drive to school locations.
