At Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Financial Manager - Physician Compensation to join our innovative healthcare finance team. Position Summary

As the Financial Manager - Physician Compensation , you will lead a team of analysts responsible for financial reviews and analyzes related to productivity and compensation for physicians employed by MGC. In this pivotal role, you will :

  • Oversee the creation of detailed financial reports and analyzes using tools such as Excel, Word, PowerBI, and Strata.
  • Provide critical data analysis to support strategic initiatives, budget development, and overall financial decision-making.
  • Independently solve complex problems while maximizing the use of advanced financial tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with managers and physicians to review revenue and expenditures associated with physician practices.
  • Validate financial statements and ensure the integrity of all financial reporting.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the broader finance team and organizational goals.

With full training, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely 70-80% of the time, providing a balance of professional growth and work-life integration.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

    • Experience

  • 5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • 2 years in a healthcare setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including complex formulas and database functions.

    • License / Certifications

  • Must demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of database programs.

    • Preferred Qualifications

    Education

  • Master’s degree in a business-related field.

    • Experience

  • 5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • 5 years in a healthcare setting.
  • 5 years of management experience.
