What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Invasive Cardiologist position at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System?
Spartanburg Medical Center (SMC) is seeking to hire FULL TIME BC / BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist with experience in advanced cardiac imaging to join a 17 year well-established and thriving practice. The Cardiologist will join a large multispecialty practice of 3 BC Interventional Cardiologists, 8 BC Internal Medicine physicians, 1 BC Allergy / Immunology physician and 6 Nurse Practitioners. The group works cooperatively with a private cardiology group in providing comprehensive cardiovascular services at Spartanburg Medical Center. Clinical work will be done at 3 Spartanburg Regional facilities.
The ideal candidate will have advanced (Level 3) fellowship training and / or appropriate Board Certification in cardiac imaging, especially in areas of advanced transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and nuclear cardiology.
Responsibilities :
- Practice provides in house echo, stress echo and stress nuclear studies
- Office call
5-6 new consults daily
2-3 new consults daily
5-10 new hospital consults daily
Compensation Package :
Spartanburg Medical Center provides comprehensive cardiovascular services to a catchment area serving 450,000 patients. Services include full non-invasive, invasive and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular surgical and structural heart programs.
