What are the responsibilities and job description for the NP/PA - Hospice position at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System?
Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an experienced full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Medical Group of the Carolinas – Hospice team. The APP will work alongside BC Hospice Physician, NP and a multidisciplinary team with both home-based hospice and Hospice home teams
Highlights of the opportunity include:
- 2 years NP or PA experience is required.
- Prior palliative care or geriatric experience is preferred.
- Monday – Friday, 8-5
- Home visits for Start of Care
- Face to face visits for certification as assigned.
- Rounding at the Hospice Home, a 15-bed inpatient facility in Spartanburg
- M-Th; 1 weeknight call, phone call only
- 1:4 weekend call to include rounding at the Hospice Home Saturday and Sunday
- 4 county service area for home visits
- $3500 and 5 days for CME annually
