- One to two years of healthcare experiencePreferred License / Registration / Certifications
- N / ACore Job ResponsibilitiesAssist with the collection of ongoing health care data; recognizes existing relationships between such data to normal values and the patient's current health status
- Assist with the collection of patient tasks to support the patient's health information and history
- Assures continuity and quality patient care through effective communication
- Collaborates with patients, families, and other health care providers in the delivery of health care
- Provides input that supports and contributes to the registered nurse's assessment, analysis, and formulation of a nursing care plan
- Demonstrates knowledge of medications and correct administration
- Procures resources necessary to implement the nursing care plan and implements nursing interventions and tasks as outlined in the nursing care plan and as delegated by the registered nurse
- Seeks necessary assistance in completing nursing interventions to assure positive patient outcomes
- Documents all aspects of patient care rendered by following established electronic health record documentation policies and procedures.
- Participates in hourly rounding and bedside shift report
- Responsible for demonstrating competencies for all new equipment and procedures
- Successfully completes hospital and unit-based orientation programs
- Formulates a plan for professional growth
- Ensures compliance with all clinical expectations regarding regulatory requirements
- Participates as an effective and collaborative team member
- Other Duties, as assigned, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
