Receiving Coordinator for Late Shift
Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Overtime as needed
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Logistics Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to perform inventory checks as required
- Assist in scanning and labeling tasks as needed
- Record incoming goods in both the internal ERP system and SAP
- Execute various tasks and serve as a liaison under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Manager
- Enforce disciplinary measures for receiving team members, following the progressive discipline process outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Ensure that receiving team members receive proper training and supervision.
- Interact with the Logistics Manager and Logistics Assistant to guarantee accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in hiring and termination decisions regarding receiving team members; give suggestions and recommendations concerning hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other changes in the status of receiving team employees
- Maintain the organized appearance of the warehouse and production area on a daily basis
- Supervise, oversee, and lead all activities of the receiving team
- Oversee the Recycling Waste Program and manage the empty trailer pool
- Notify the Logistics Manager if critical parts are not present in the yard
- Plan and manage the daily unloading and stocking of materials
- Compile Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
- Train new personnel in company standards, procedures, safety, and the operation of plant equipment
- Update the Yard Management System (YMS) on a daily basis.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP System or similar platforms
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Effective communication skills through email, phone, and in-person interactions with individuals at all organizational levels
- Exhibit a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and ethical work behavior
- Possess personnel management and leadership skills
- Availability to work overtime, if needed.
- Ability to work any shift as required.
- Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently, completing tasks in a timely and safe manner.
- Foster teamwork and exhibit flexibility.
