What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher (DMTC) position at Spartanburg School District 3?
Qualifications :
- South Carolina Certification as Generic Special Education (02) or Multicategorical (21) or Learning Disabilities (2G)
- Experience and / or great comfort in teaching students essential life skills to include, but not limited to : general shop / lab safety, safe and practical use of power tools, kitchen safety and hygiene, personal economics, and professional communication skills.
- Interact and engage with all Daniel Morgan Technology Center completer programs in determining the best fit for students and the best career match for student interests.
- General working knowledge of career and technology education completer programs are vital to student success and the continued success of the integrated partnership.
- Preferred candidate will also be knowledgeable of the South Carolina Employability Credential requirements and teach courses as necessary.
Salary : Teacher Salary Schedule
Terms of Employment : 190 days
