What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute School Nurse position at Spartanburg School District 7?
QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse or LPN
RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of student medication, school health rooms, student health records, accident and illness response. Also, responsible for screenings and follow up health care prevention programs, staff training, and parent communication.
Rate and Method of Pay
Substitute Nurse: $125/day
Substitute nurses are not paid during the month they work; they are paid the subsequent month.
Payroll is on the 23rd of the month but if the 23rd falls on a Saturday or Sunday, you will be paid the prior Friday. Example: If you substitute in the month of September, you will be paid on October 23rd. If you work in the month of October, you will be paid November 23rd. The substitute pay period is the first day of the month to the last. Paychecks are mailed to the address on your application. - A 2-Step Tuberculin skin test that has been completed within the last year. This can be uploaded to your application or submitted to the Human Resources Department.
