- Supports day to day administrative/organizational functions at the WWTF for all departments including
-Operations, Industrial Pretreatment and Above Ground Maintenance
- Performs comparative research on efficiency of current operational/scientific practices versus other potential practices
- Accomplishes data entry and assists in presenting research through compilation of results into graphical analysis
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work out-of-doors and also inside a laboratory with equal enthusiasm
- Work with experienced water professionals
- Perform work/research to provide excellent service to the community while protecting water resources
- Gain knowledge of the Spartanburg Water system

Spartanburg Water, a water and wastewater utility provider is seeking an intern to support the company within the Wastewater Services Department. Requirements
- Enrollment in an institution of higher learning or certification program with an emphasis in environmental studies or relatable subject
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work out-of-doors and also inside a laboratory with equal enthusiasm
