What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Systems and Technology Intern position at Sparton Corporation?
Sparton is looking for a qualified intern to join our Operations Systems and Technology team. The ideal candidate will need base-level knowledge in programming languages like C#, JavaScript and SQL. Our internship provides an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in system support specific to a manufacturing environment.

- Experience with Aegis FactoryLogix applications
- Experience with Business Intelligence applications
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio
Responsibilities
- Assist team with support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Assist the team with support of custom web applications that interact with the MES
- Maintain SQL database and utilize data for dashboard reporting
- Work with Operations to develop supporting systems for manufacturing
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship
- Familiarity with software development
- Familiarity with databases
- Availability to work on-site in DeLeon Spring, FL
