Job Opportunity: Configuration Specialist
Department: On the Corporate Global Materials Quoting Team
Reports to: Corporate Materials Quote Manager
Works on-site: Brooksville, FL
At Spartronics, the Configuration Specialist is responsible for managing product configuration and documentation control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to maintain configuration integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage configuration control activities, including bill of materials (BOMs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and document management.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of product data in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to implement and communicate product changes effectively.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications related to configuration management.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) processes by ensuring seamless configuration transitions from development to production.
- Analyze and resolve configuration-related issues, discrepancies, or deviations.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on configuration management best practices.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to configuration management and document control.
- Continuously improve configuration processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and traceability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in configuration management, document control, or related roles in an EMS or high-reliability manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLM and ERP systems, with experience using Agile, Arena, SAP, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ITAR compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

- All applicants must be U.S. Citizen and have the Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance. We can not provide visa sponsorship.
- Able to work onsite in Brooksville, FL. (this is not a remote or hybrid position)
