At Spartronics, the Shipping Clerk directs the work of semi-skilled team members who perform a variety of functions that directly or indirectly support production functions. Responsible for all shipping activities, domestic and international.
What a Day Looks Like :
- Count, pack and label goods for shipment.
- Scan, label and print bar code or quick print labels for assemblies and boxes.
- Prepare shipping documentation per work instructions and commercial requirements in our computer system.
- Maintain shipping files and perform transactions in the computer.
- Operates forklift truck or pallet jack to move, convey or hoist product needed for supplies or shipment.
- Keep work area neat and organized.
- Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all safety practices, rules and standards throughout each working day.
- Performs daily problem solving activities with assistance of management and engineering teams
