Position: Operator - Reports to the Production Manager
Location: (Onsite) North Logan, UT
This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week, Monday through Thursday
About the Role:
Operators perform a limited range of semi-repetitive production work. They perform low to medium-complexity hand soldering, mechanical assembly, and/or machine operation. Your contributions will help us continue our journey towards Winning as One: One company. One team. One purpose. One plan. One culture.
What a typical day looks like:
- Hand solders and performs electro-mechanical assembly of electronics
- Operates manufacturing equipment
- Enters product tracking data
- Inspects products to quality standards

The experience we’re looking for to add to the team:
- Must be “Lawful US Persons” (US Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, Political Asylee or Refuge.) This position requires the use of information that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee. We can not provide sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
- J-Std. certification (preferred) Will be required to obtain certification during the first 90 days of employment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication in a technical atmosphere
- Read and understand detailed assembly instructions
- Work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and environments
- Hand tool operation experience (preferred)
- Complete work to high industry standards
Work Schedule
- The planned schedule is a 4-day/10-hour workweek
- Shift 1: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime: The goal is to limit overtime, but it is a reality in manufacturing
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Up to 50 lbs., repeatedly. Team lifts over 50 lbs.
- Reaching: Overhead, frequently
- Fine Motor Skills: Prolonged and repetitive soldering and other hand operations. Requires gripping, twisting, and pinching with both hands and fingers
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for up to 10 hours
- Must be able to look in and work with a microscope
- Repetitive twisting at the waist
