Job Summary: Assists production and product engineers with production process documentation, work instructions, failure analysis, production support and workstation setup.
This is a full-time summer position with the potential to transition to part-time in the fall.
Core Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to engineers in various tasks including designed experiments, failure analysis, design for manufacturability (DFM) reports, process procedures, process improvements, work instructions, and setup.
- Provides production support to resolve defects and improve processes
- Reviews document packages and assists in product quotes
Education
- Sophomore level or higher in Engineering program (required)
- 1 – 3 years related work experience (preferred)
- Basic level computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD
- Good verbal and written communication
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Troubleshoot defects in a production environment
- Moderate level of attention to detail
