Summary / Objective?
The role of Field Supervisor : Load Control will be a key contributor to the Distributive Energy Organization’s success here at Allegiant (a Sparus Holdings Brand). The Field Supervisor : Load Control will support the start-up and / or daily operations of field technician staff ensuring production levels are met or exceeded while maintaining all safety requirements. The Field Supervisor : Load Control will assist the Project Manager in the planning and coordination of project activities.

- Install and configure load control devices and related electrical components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Inspect installation sites to determine the best configuration and positioning of equipment.
- Perform tests to ensure proper functioning of installed load control devices.
- Utilize Allegiant’s Work Order Management System to capture installation data.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during installations.
- Performs Safety and Quality Audits of Technicians. Workload expectations are 50% Audits and 50% performing installations
- Coordinate with other technicians and departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensures that all necessary project needs including equipment, supplies, logistical issues are properly prepared and in place.
- Promotes health and safety awareness and education to employees and works to identify and minimize workplace hazards.
- Maintains accurate records for project equipment / assets and manage the inventory accordingly.
- Supervises the daily operations of project team to include staff, production, and equipment.
- Identifies, diagnose and resolve gaps in Production actuals versus forecast derived from the provided Schedule Tracker.
- Ensures Field Technicians have a steady flow of assigned work by planning inclusive of assigned maps, area and equipment.
- When applicable utilizes GPS, bread-crumb applications, and / or smart routing of work to increase production.
- Provides training to Field Technicians as needed and identifies training needs as the project progresses. Ensures knowledge gaps are addressed and resolved.
- Performs monthly vehicle and equipment inspections by completing documentation and providing copies to Project Manager and follows company policies related to company vehicle use.
- Enforces all company specified safety policies and procedures in a consistent manner
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours will vary based on client expectation and work availability. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Up to 70% travel is expected for this position.
Work Environment
The job requires time outside in a variety of weather conditions and varying terrain as well as time in a more tradition office administration environment.
Physical Requirements
This position requires close vision and the ability to adjust eyesight along with the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary.

Salary : $71,000 - $72,800
