Job Description:
- Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Scheduling Available)
- Location: 100% Onsite at school-based settings
- School Year: 2024-2025
- Caseload: Determined based on experience and preferences.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and establish treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records, including session notes, progress reports, and required DOE documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear recommendations for continued support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current New York State SLP License
- Minimum 1 year of experience (school-based experience preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a school setting.
