JOB SUMMARY: SPATCO is looking for an energetic Commercial/ EV/ Industrial electrical sales specialist to join our team. This person will maintain relationships and accounts, generate business from existing customers and secure new customers and accounts, as well as perform any other duties assigned by the sales manager in our Commercial Sales Segment, which consists of fleet and emergency power facilities, marinas, industrial facilities, production plants, EV sites, and airports. Responsible for presenting products or services that align with the customer’s needs, negotiating prices, and ultimately closing sales to achieve sales targets, all while maintaining positive customer interactions through sales cycle and completion of the project.

Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise on our product lines, their applications and any associated industry regulations
- Secures opportunities to quote and present proposals based on customer requirements
- Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotes
- Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel internal and external(purchasing, engineering, other key personnel)
- Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
- Provides a territory sales plan and forecasts including utilizing SPATCO CRM
- Advanced knowledge of Industry
- Outside sales experience required
- EV installation and equipment sales experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight
- Work under time constraints efficiently and work well with others to coordinate system designs, proposals, procurement, installation, maintenance, and billing
