Description
Spatial Front provides IT solutions to federal, state, and local governments, and the private sector. We are looking for a strong Project Manager with recent large scale and diverse IT Project Management expertise in an Agile development environment. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the programmatic, financial, personnel, and administrative/reporting activities of an 8-person Agile software development team.
- Act as the central liaison for government clients, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Plan, support, and provide advice/contributions in complex and critical efforts which include specific functional, technical, professional, or policy areas of the project.
- Scope, map, and define project phases, deliverables, key milestones, and evaluation criteria.
- Design and implement solutions to track and document projects and workflows.
- Provide meeting support
- Track and follow up on project assignments and actions and monitor timeliness of all Govt. commitments and deliverables to assist with staff accountability.
- Set up technology interface and logistics for meetings and any stakeholder outreach meetings (MS Teams, phone, etc.).
- Respond to staff inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
- Provide a monthly status report and presentation on all active tasks.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field), or substitute six years of equivalent work experience
- At least 5-8 years of large scale and diverse IT project management and coordination expertise
- Agile development implementation management is required
- Must have experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Candidates must provide fingerprints and be able to pass a US Public Trust background check for badging and access to client systems.
- Previous federal government project experience a plus
Certifications (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- SAFe Certification or equivalent Scrum Master Certification preferred

Other Information
- The salary for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 annually
- This role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs.
