Description
SFI is searching for a senior consultant and UiPath Developer / Administrator to join our team to support a stable multi-year client program. This is a full-time position (with benefits) and is fully funded. The UiPath Developer / Administrator will provide specialized software knowledge and support to operate, maintain, migrate, enhance, and support RPA use at the National Science Foundation (NSF). There are multiple RPA technologies available at NSF like UiPath, Power Automate, ServiceNow RPA, and Python for automating individuals' tasks.
Non-technical activities:
· Work closely with customers to document and develop use cases to automate manual processes to address time consuming and redundant tasks
· Understand business process requirements and design
· Ability to capture requirements and convert business logic/processes/requirements.
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
Technical activities:
· The UiPath Developer / Administrator will provide design, development, deployment & support Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath.
Primary Development Responsibilities:
The UiPath Developer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Document technical specifications, process workflows, and standard operating procedures.
· Ability to capture requirements and convert business logic/processes/requirements.
· Configure requirements into robotics processes using UiPath core workflow principles.
· Troubleshoot and debug UiPath automations for bug fixes.
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation (PDDs / SDDs) and training materials.
· Ability to interpret, document and visualize business processes and translate them into automation solutions & support.
· Hands on experience implementing UiPath automations using o365 technologies such as SharePoint.
Primary Development Responsibilities:
The UiPath Administrator’s responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Work closely with customers and developers to support and deploy NSF automations.
· Strong knowledge and experience in the administration of the UiPath platform, including Orchestrator use and functions.
· Ability to write scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of administrative tasks related to RPA and other enterprise systems
· Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, databases, networks, and security protocols
· Knowledge and experience using CyberArk with UiPath automations.
· Knowledge of backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and system availability.
· Ability to document processes
· Problem-Solving Abilities; capability to troubleshoot and debug issues in automated processes.
· Understanding of databases and SQL for data manipulation and integration tasks.
· Ability to analyze business processes and design automated solutions using RPA tools.
· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services, specifically around SharePoint Online, Office 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus.
· Additional Skills in any of these areas developing scalable custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft 365 REST APIs as well as Azure functions or Logic Apps.
· Knowledge/Proficiency in PowerShell scripting or Python for automating tasks within Microsoft 365 environments.
· Understanding of identity management concepts within Azure Active Directory, OKTA, Azure MFA and Office 365.
· Hands-on experience in implementing RPA solutions across different domains or industries.
· Hands-on experience in deploying enterprise systems and performing upgrades to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
· Ability to perform capacity planning to anticipate system resource needs and ensure scalability.
Understanding of security best practices and implementing security measures specific to enterprise systems and their integration with enterprise IT security frameworks.
Requirements
· BS or BA in CS, CIS, EE, Math or equivalent technical studies.
· 8 years overall IT experience
· 4 Years Hands-on UiPath Development (Studio) experience
· 4 Years Hands-On UiPath Orchestrator administration experience.
· Experience using UIPath with Office365 products
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Hands-on with full automation and experience with GraphAPI, SharePoint, CyberArk and MFA
· Current experience implementing full automation life cycle from Discovery to Implementation
· Ability to work independently as a primary automation developer
· Ability to implement and use Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
· Ability to perform critical thinking and analysis
· Ability to explain advanced UiPath techniques using REFramework, Selectors and APIs.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
· Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment
· Federal RPA Experience
· Exposure to the Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Scripting
Certifications: At least one of the professional certifications
· Currently active UiPath Certification, with preference for ‘UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional’
