What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Career Opportunities position at Spaulding Academy & Family Services?
Spaulding Academy & Family Services is a leading academic and residential facility for students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Our Health Services team provides comprehensive care to students ranging from ages 4 to 21.
Saturday and Sunday Shifts
We have full-time shifts available on Saturday and Sunday, from 6:30am to 9:30pm. These 15-hour shifts are considered full-time positions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Assessments for illness and general first aid
- Temperature checks
- Education to students, families, and staff
- Shared on-call responsibilities amongst the Health Services team
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must have an active New Hampshire RN or LPN license. Pediatric/psychiatric and neurobehavioral experience is helpful, but not required. Previous experience working in an academic setting, long-term care, or a pediatric medical setting is beneficial.
