What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Spaulding Brick Company, Inc.?
Due to company growth, we are excited to offer an Inside Sales Representative position. This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We're looking for an ideal candidate who is reliable, a team player, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys interacting with customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Sell products such as brick, stone, mortar, concrete masonry units and related items
- Engage with walk-in mason contractors, general contractors, developers, architects and the general public
- Enhance company image and product exposure by delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations an manage order entries and purchase orders
- Address customer complaints in a promptly and professionally, guiding them through to resolution
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams
- Assist with year-end inventory audits and periodic inventory cycle counts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the sales and promotion of building products
- Strong technical knowledge of building products and wall system design
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivator and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient at Microsoft Outlook, Word and reading Excel Spreadsheets; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Ability to lift samples up to 25 lbs.
- Valid driver's license required
