About The Practice: Our clinic offers spay/neuter surgeries to shelter animals, rescues, and targets individuals who cannot afford to have their pets sterilized elsewhere. We are NOT a traditional veterinary practice but still offer top-notch care! Our mission is to reduce the pet over-population problem in the Birmingham metro area and beyond and therefore decrease shelter euthanasia and increase pet adoption.
This is a fast-paced environment focused on providing high quality, high volume spay and neuter surgeries. Our veterinary team performs over 12,000 surgeries in a year (i.e. we make a mess). The ideal candidate will take the initiative to complete tasks as an individual to keep our hospital looking clean and smelling fresh and allow our medical team to focus solely on patient care.
We look for easy-going, low-drama folks, who maintain a positive attitude and have a sense of humor. This is an on-the-move kind of job, no time to stand around and be idle, we are busy the entire day. The ideal candidate will be timely, reliable, courteous and respectful to team members, hard-working, detail-oriented, presentably dressed, an excellent communicator, and easy-going.
