Our successful surgery clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our practice! Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of experience assisting with surgical preparation and recovery.
Spay Now Surgery Clinic has been offering low cost, high quality surgical services to the community since 2008. We are seeking individuals who are upbeat, self-motivated, team oriented and do well working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting our veterinarians
- Utilize proper animal restraint
- Administering injections
- Placing IV catheters
- Monitor patients (pre-operative and post-operative)
- Cleaning and sterilizing of surgical packs
- Blood draws
- Prepare medications
- Provide high quality customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of our hospital
- Communicate with owners regarding their animals
***This position is physically demanding requiring applicants to stand for long periods of time and repeatedly lift up to 50lbs***
Wage and Benefits:
- Wage based off experience. Starting pay will range from $18.00-$21.00

Hours/Work schedule:
Full-time employees must be available to work at least 36 hours per week. Hours of operations are Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Emergency surgeries are not uncommon and will require technicians/assistants to stay after hours at times. All potential new hires are required to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
