• Coordination Leadership: Directly oversee the coordination effort for the company, guiding drafters/spoolers as needed, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Drawings and Documentation: Prepare detailed shop drawings, labeling, dimensioning, and printing of drawings; place Trimble points with precision.
• Library Maintenance: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining libraries of equipment and fittings for the CADD system.
• Documentation and Organization: Maintain and file all sketches and drawings by name-number location, ensuring easy access to vital information.
• Piping Assembly Drawings: Provide piping assembly drawings for Pipe Fab Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, and/or Prefabrication Shops, meeting project timelines and specifications.
• Knowledge and Learning: Continuously learn about mechanical installations, their applications, and necessary information regarding CADD systems.
• Design and Drafting: Make final sketches of proposed drawings, checking dimensions, materials, and structural integrity.
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Utilize CADD equipment and software – Revit, AutoCAD MEP – to create accurate and precise designs.
Qualifications and Requirements
• A minimum of three years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
