What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA QC Technician position at SPC Mechanical?
Job Summary :
To verify the adherence to project contract drawings and specifications, manufacturer installation guidelines and general craftsmanship. To ensure that all team members are accurately educated and trained on proper installation practices and documentation. To serve as the onsite visual weld inspector, when applicable.
Qualification Requirements : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. - Two years of mechanical service, equipment start up, or commissioning experience
- Current driver's license.
- Certified Weld Inspector Certification required.
- Piping and quality inspection
- Occasional travel as needed
