What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Welfare Counselor position at SPCA Tampa Bay Florida Inc.?
We’re looking for full-time Animal Welfare Counselors to join our open-admission, for-all animal shelter. Being a “for-all” shelter means that SPCA Tampa Bay will not limit admission or refuse to take in a pet. As part of the operations team, you’ll have hands-on experience working with a variety of species!
What you’ll do:
Provide care for shelter animals including cleaning, feeding, and watering.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels and enclosures.
Support the adoptions process by assisting customers find their new furry or non-furry friend!

Previous animal handling experience a plus.
