Qualifications
•Excellent time management skills
•Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program according to AOTA
•Registration obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
•Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist as required in the state of Florida
Responsibilities
•Perform skilled therapeutic services within the Occupational Therapist’s scope of practice
•Screening & Evaluation for Occupational Therapy
•Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to ADLs/IADLs and performance deficits such as motor, sensory, cognitive, social, attention and more
•Establish and update plans of care for Occupational Therapy
•Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed
•Make progress with patients directly and indirectly through occupational therapy treatment with home education programs
